120 years of Synerlogic: growing together, celebrating together
On Friday 11 April 2025, Synerlogic turns 120. What a milestone! From a cooperative in the dairy market to a leading partner in the chemical and food industries – we’ve come a long way. And we’ve done it together – with colleagues who give it their all every day, customers who trust us, and suppliers who’ve stood by our side for many years. We couldn’t be prouder!

A rich history
Synerlogic was founded in 1905 as the Central Procurement Federation for Dutch Dairy (CA FNZ) by the Dutch Dairy Association (FNZ), with the goal of optimising joint purchasing for dairy cooperatives. In 1995, CA FNZ was privatised and became the family-owned Synerlogic, founded by Henk Kwakman. Since 2000, we’ve focused on the development, production and supply of chemicals, cleaning and disinfection products, cheese coatings, technical additives and ingredients – always with safety and quality at the core.
Proud of our growth
Over the decades, we’ve kept moving – together with all our colleagues. We launched our own production company, introduced new services such as transfer pumps and telemetry, and set up our business units In2Food and Synerlogic Chemicals. We also developed brands like SynQ (cleaning and disinfection) and Plasticoat® (cheese coatings). These innovations help us serve our customers better and strengthen our position in the market.
In 2024, we proudly opened our brand-new Food Safe production facility. This modern hall is fully dedicated to producing ingredients under the highest food safety standards of FSSC 22000. A big step forward – for us and our customers – helping us raise the bar for quality, hygiene and reliability even higher.
Looking ahead with the STOCKMEIER Group
As of February 2025, we are part of the STOCKMEIER Group – a family-owned company that, like us, values quality, long-term commitment and true collaboration. This move allows us to further strengthen our role as a chemical manufacturer, distributor and total solutions partner for the food industry.
Both Synerlogic and the STOCKMEIER Group have a proud history of more than 100 years and share a strong family culture. That spirit remains, just like our independent position and the freedom to operate under our trusted brands. We’re excited about what this partnership will bring.
Growing together, celebrating together
On Monday 14 April, we’ll mark this special anniversary with our colleagues. Their energy and dedication have shaped who we are today – and we are beyond proud of that! In September, the Synerlogic Family Festival will follow: a festive day for colleagues and their families, full of connection, fun and shared stories. We’ll look back on 120 years of Synerlogic – and forward to the future. Our customers and suppliers also play an important part in this journey. They’ve been with us for many years, and we look forward to celebrating with them later this year in a way that truly fits.
