Successful implementation of our new ERP System

In recent months, Synerlogic has been focused on one of the largest and most impactful projects of recent years: the implementation of our new ERP system, Infor CloudSuite M3. A journey defined by collaboration, quality, and future-oriented thinking. And above all: something we achieved together.

No detours, just progress

What started as an internal decision evolved into a company-wide project, culminating in the go-live at the beginning of April. A pivotal moment – but thanks to thorough preparation and intensive collaboration, the implementation was a success. “What stood out most to me was that we really did this together,” says Monique van Someren, Manager Finance & IT at Synerlogic and ultimately responsible for this immense project.

Choosing to adhere to the standard functionality of Infor CloudSuite M3 – and deliberately avoiding customisation – required courage, clarity in processes, and a willingness to let go of existing habits and routines. While our way of working often follows standardised processes, our customers are anything but standard – they are unique. “We deliberately chose the standard, but in our own Synerlogic way,” Monique explains.

Learning, testing, and improving together

Throughout the entire process, we spent a lot of time together – aligning, working in buddy systems, testing, and training – with more and more colleagues becoming involved along the way. Monique: “The go-live really felt like crossing the finish line together. Everyone was prepared, everyone joined in. Not because they had to, but because they had helped build it themselves.”

Masterdata: the silent driving force

A key thread running through this project was Masterdata – perhaps the most complex part. As logical as it sounds to translate the quality of processes and agreements into Masterdata, that’s rarely how it works in practice. Think of a CAN: purchasing, production, filling, stock management and delivery. Every part of the process requires its own data to ensure compliance and to safeguard the quality and efficiency of operations. This demands attention and focus in a project of this scale.

“By linking Masterdata to ERP, colleagues began to understand its added value – and that created the support we needed. We all knew what we were doing it for, so it was time to roll up our sleeves and make it happen!” Monique explains.

What does this mean for our customers?

We are ready for the future. For our customers, this means even greater reliability, quality and efficiency. We can manage processes more tightly, integrate more easily with customer portals and supplier systems, and respond more quickly to digital developments. This is not just theory – it is already delivering tangible benefits, such as optimising order flow with the Stockmeier Group.

“The ERP implementation project was a great adventure, and the result speaks for itself. We’ve shown that collaboration and innovation go hand in hand – and that we can take big steps forward together,” Monique concludes. “I look forward to the next phase in our digital transformation.”
